Sustainable ceasefire required to resolve Syrian crisis: Iran

September 21, 2016 - 20:30

TEHRAN – The Iranian foreign minister’s deputy for Arab and African affairs has said a sustainable ceasefire is needed to resolve the Syrian crisis.

Hossein Jaberi Ansari also said Iran disapproves of any military action against terrorists in Syria that fails to receive the Syrian government’s approval, Tasnim reported on Wednesday.

The official blamed wrong policies of other countries as the main factor that has worsened the crisis. He also rapped the U.S. for attacking Syrian Army positions.
